Cyclists Welcome

Cycling around Rousay is an ideal way of exploring our island, the main road being a circular 13mile trip.  The new e-bikes make light of the ‘undulating’ route, but experienced cyclists enjoy the challenge!

For inspiration see this page on Orkney.com.

Bicycle hire is available at Trumland Organic Farm, a 5-minute’ walk from the Rousay Pier. Bikes (both pedal and e-bikes) can be hired per day, with helmets and water bottles included.

Pre-booking is recommended.
