“Peedie” is the Orcadian word for small and we only have peedie livestock (chickens, cockerel and bees).

Here at the family-run Peedie Farm we take our environmental responsibility very seriously. We keep bees (our peedie livestock) to produce a honey that is full of natural health benefits and to assist in the pollination of the various plants and crops in the area.

We try to keep our energy footprint as low as possible and have used locally produced materials whenever possible whilst building the site.
