A huge thank you to all who came along to the Road Show and AGM on Saturday 20 June, it was great to see you all there. Members voted onto the board three new directors Julie Gibson, Ian Barker & Martin Douglas.
The Rousay Lap is fast approaching! The event starts at 12:00 noon at The Space on Saturday, 22 August 2026. If you would like to help out as a marshal on the day, please let Helen know at helen@rewdt.org All marshals receive a £10 voucher from the REW DT as a thank you, these can be used in either Marion’s Shop, The Crafthub or the Taversoe.
Finally, the Trust wish a fond farewell to Lloyd Gudgeon who has had to resign from his position as CDO due to a family situation. Lloyd is still helping with the handover to Shani Hall. Shani is a consultant from Stronsay who has vast experience as a previous Stronsay DT CDO and will be working over the next few months to ensure continuity while we advertise and recruit a new CDO. We will keep you all informed of our progress.
